Authors of the monument are sculptor Vidmantas Gylikis and architect Marius Morkūnas. According to them, it is an altar – a symbol of unity and sacrifice for your homeland.
The bottom part is a triangle, three flat parts refers to three partisan teams and the fourth one is our land.
