The mural depicts one of the most prominent Lithuanian émigré poets, translators, literary critics, the recipient of the Lithuanian National Culture and Art Prize (1997), honorary doctor of Vytautas Magnus University, Alfonsas Nyka-Niliūnas (Čipkus) (born in 1919 in Nemeikščiai, Utena district).
The author of the work is Tadas Šimkus.
