Unconventional sculpture park in Antalgė

Did you know that there is a unique sculpture park near Utena, where guests are greeted by sculptures of Dr. Unikauskas, racer Benediktas Vanagas perched in the shade of a spruce tree, and cartoon characters hiding in an intricate maze? If you manage not to get lost, you can meet the iconic mice from the satirical television show “Bicycle News”. You can also find Vidas Bareikis, Virgis Stakėnas, Andrius Mamontovas and many other stars of the entertainment world. The youngest guides in Lithuania will not only tell you about the park’s celebrities but will also talk about the metal sculptures that decorate the park, how they are made and what stories they hide. They will show you the workshops where ceramic works are created and introduce you to the pets. Just make sure to arrange your visit in advance. Famous people are always busy, after all... The park is open from June to September.

Giedrius Mazūras - ceramist, sculptor, art teacher. A few years ago, he began working on a sculpture park on his great-grandparents' farmstead in Antalge. The area is decorated not only with sculptures of famous people, but also with monumental metal sculptures. The park includes an educational labyrinth of discovery for children, a playground, and an art workshop for those who wish to try out sculpting or want to buy various ceramic works.
