On the occasion of the 765th anniversary of Tauragnai, which happened on the 27th of June, 2020, a sculpture of a Taurus, the town's symbol, was unveiled. The sculpture was placed on a monumental stone, marking the first mention of the name Tauragnai in written sources, in 1255. The sculpture was created by Vaidas Ramoška, a sculptor from Ukmergė.
