The oak of Varniškės, the diameter of which is 1.8 m, height – 28 m, nobly looks at its visitors. It is a descendant of the old oak-woods, which became a natural monument in 1960 and was declared to be a protected object by the Minister of Environment on 03 Nov 1999. The visitors are also welcomed by the broad branches of the linden of Varniškės. Its diameter is 1.2 m, height – 28 m. Parents and grandparents of the linden guardian, Vaclovas Kriugiškis, used to place 10 log beehives by this linden in order the bees would produce honey when the tree was blossoming. Beehives are placed until now. In 1960, the linden became a natural monument and was declared to be a protected object by the Minister of Environment on 03 Nov 1999.
